  • Wash the sweet potatoes and cut them into wedges. Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees.
  • Add the sweet potato wedges, oil, and seasonings to a large mixing bowl and stir or toss until evenly coated.
  • Place the wedges in a single layer in the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes. Then, give them a good shake and continue cooking for an additional 5 minutes until crispy on the outside and fork-tender.
  • If the wedges aren't fully cooked and crispy, give them another 3 minutes.

Storage
  • Refrigerate for up to 5 days in an airtight container. 
  • Chill the wedges, then freeze them for up to 3 months in an airtight, freezer-safe container. 
  • Defrost if frozen and bake at 375 for 3 to 5 minutes until crispy again. 
Tips
  • There's no need to peel the sweet potatoes before air-frying them. However, you can if you prefer.
  • Select sweet potatoes that are firm and have no markings or blemishes on the skin. The skin shouldn't look shriveled or wrinkly, either.
  • Preheat your air fryer to ensure even cooking and accurate cooking times. It only takes about 5 minutes, and it's so worth it!
  • Coating the wedges in oil eliminates the need to brush your basket with oil.
